The Bachelor of Information Management (BIM)
program is a four-year semester-based program of Tribhuvan University, offering
integrated IT and Management courses. BIM typically includes courses related to

Eligibility For Admission
• Completed 12 years of schooling from a recognized university, board, or institution under Tribhuvan University.
• Attained a minimum D+ grade in each subject of grades 11 and 12, or secured at least a second division in the 10+2, PCL, or equivalent program.
• Completed all application procedures.
Successfully appeared in the Central Management Admission Test (CMAT), which evaluates verbal ability, quantitative ability, logical reasoning, and general awareness.
The CMAT consists of 100 objective questions, 25 in each section, with a total weight of 100 marks. A minimum score of 40% in the CMAT is required to qualify for the interview.
Selection Process:
The CMAT is conducted by the Faculty of Management and follows an international testing pattern.
Individual presentations and interviews are conducted by the colleges running the program.The admission committee of the colleges holds the final authority in selecting students for the BIM program.
Merit List:
Admission to the BIM program at Tribhuvan University is based strictly on the merit list.
The merit list is prepared considering
• 60% of the CMAT entrance examination
• 30% of the marks secured in the 10+2 or equivalent
• 10% from the interview.
